We are proud to be one of very few NYC ophthalmology practices to exclusively offer the newer safer non-cutting LASEK and Epi-LASIK procedures for laser vision correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.  LASEK and Epi-LASIK are non-invasive procedures where laser is performed on the surface of the eye without having to cut deeper into the cornea as in older LASIK procedure.  During LASEK and Epi-LASIK procedures, no flap is created so the procedure is 10 times safer than traditional LASIK with sharper long term vision, better night vision, and less dryness.   LASEK and Epi-LASIK refractive surgery procedures are not only for our younger patients anymore.  Recent advances in ophthalmic knowledge and technology allow us to offer Laser Refractive Surgery to our patients who require bifocal glasses for distance and reading.
